GOTS is an acronym that stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. It’s the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, which is backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain, ensuring responsibility and purity is met.
Having a set of standards like these required for certification means ensuring the meeting of requirements for the GOTS organic status —everything from harvesting the raw cotton material, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, up to labeling.
