Four Fabulous Facials

Four Fabulous Facials

Getting to enjoy a spa day might be the relaxation and splurge you look forward to all week long, but with these four all natural facials that you can easily make at home—you can turn any evening into a spa-worthy experience for your skin!

Say “Clay” For A Better Complexion

Bentonite clay is known for its detoxifying properties. Combine these earthy ingredients in a glass or wooden bowl, stirring until they’re a smooth paste.

  • 1 teaspoon bentonite clay
  • 1 teaspoon water or apple cider vinegar (more if needed)
  • 1-2 drops lavender essential oil (optional)

Apply 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick layer onto your skin and let it dry for 10-20 minutes. You will feel a pulling and tightening sensation. Rinse off with warm water.

Cool Yogurt For Clear Skin

This one is great for tightening pores and revitalizing your skin.

  • 1 teaspoon plain yogurt
  • 2-3 drops of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for extra hydration)

Spread the mask on, relax 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm water, then splash with cool water to tighten your pores.

Going Bananas

After a crazy long day, this single-ingredient fruity facial will be just the simple relaxation you need. It can soften your skin, and your mood.

  • 1 ripe banana

Mash up this fruit into a smooth paste, then apply it to your face and neck. Let it sit for 10-20 minutes and rinse off with cold water.

Quick Oats For Quality Skin

Who knew oatmeal could be good for more than just cookies, right? Plus the addition of turmeric to this facial adds extra antibacterial properties—great for fighting acne.

  • ½ cup oatmeal
  • 1 ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons olive or coconut oil
  • water (to reach desired consistency)

Using a food processor, mix the oats and turmeric together into a coarse powder. Stir in oil and enough water to be a smooth, spreadable consistency. Spread onto your face, rest 5-10 minutes, then rise off the mask.

So try one or try all four and let us know your facial favorites. It’s an easy way to create spa moments right out of your very own kitchen!
